The Spartacus ballet spectacle of the National Ballet and Theatre of Ukraine 'Taras Shevchenco' will open the 47th Ohrid Summer Festival on Thursday evening at the Antique Theatre.
'This show has been performed by the Kiev Ballet over the past 30 years with a great success, said Eleonora Steblak - a ballet maestro at the National Ballet and Opera of Ukraine.
The general rehearsal took place Wednesday in windy weather. 'We hope that the weather will be better in the opening evening, otherwise the show will take place at sports hall Biljanini Izvori, said festival director Toni Simonoski.
This year's Ohrid Summer Festival will feature 36 music and 14 drama shows.
The festival will be announced open by Macedonian President Branko Crvenkovski, as the event is being held under his auspices. /end/"
